I founded Studio Satya Yoga in 2007 in Oak Ridges before moving to Bond Head in 2009.​  My teaching motto is teach with compassion, with an open heart and practice what I preach!  My core training is in Mukti Yoga developed by Gita Masiques at Aum Ashram. The classes are based in this tradition, infused with other styles of yoga and spiritual disciplines.  I have also trained in Prenatal Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Dance, Vinyasa, Kundalini Yoga and Tantric Yoga.  In 2009, I became a certified Childrens' Yoga Teacher.  I am trained in Shamanic Studies, Reiki, Crystal Healing, Sound Therapy and Thai Yoga Massage. I am a lover of Mother Earth. Receiving my HBA from University of Toronto in Environmental Studies in 2003, set a foundation of conscious and ethical living.


Yoga transformed my life, awakened my potential and revealed the pure bliss that resides within us all!  I am honoured to share the joys and transformative ways of yoga.

What to expect during class: 

Class begins with group sharing, meditation, and yoga chanting (mantras).  Followed by Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar) and  classical yoga poses (asanas). Our classes vary from; Hatha, to Vinyasa, to Kundalini, to yoga dance, to Restorative, and sometimes a little of everything! An element of yoga philosophy (Jnana Yoga) is always incorpoarted into each class. Every class ends with Yoga Nidra the yogic sleep. Surrender in Shavasana and awaken restored and renewed!


We end with the mantra for peace; OM Shanti, OM Shanti, OM Shanthi.  Peace, peace, peace, may peace be onto us all.
